We're looking for a smart, energetic, competitive, passionate, and data-driven Business Development Manager. Your role will be to lead, coach, inspire, and help a team of business development specialists achieve their monthly quota of sales qualified opportunities.

This management role requires a will to win, goal-driven behavior, and a demonstrated leadership proficiency in helping a BDR team hit their monthly quota. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of building effective BDR processes (people and systems), developing strong BDR team skill sets, and helping the team optimize value props and pitches through email and phone. We need a data-driven individual who is passionate about knowing the key deliverables in optimizing the funnel from lead to qualified sales opportunities. This role reports to the VP of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Helping the BDR team achieve its monthly sales quota of sales qualified opportunities
  • Managing daily BDR reports and dashboards to drive accountability and optimize results
  • Coaching and mentoring of team on value props and pitches through email and phone
  • Guiding process to uncovering basic needs of leads and articulate Pattern’s fit
  • Working across the marketing and sales organizations to develop strategies that engage target personas across Pattern’s strategic fit accounts
  • Optimizing Salesforce.com, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Chorus, and ZoomInfo to accelerate team productivity and performance
  • Developing ways to optimize the funnel from lead to qualified sale opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in building and scaling inbound and outbound BDR teams
  • Expertise in qualifying leads through phone and email
  • Able to build out strong BDR reports and dashboards in Salesforce
  • Expertise in coaching teams toward monthly quota attainment
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com and Outreach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Highly organized and disciplined
  • Expertise with Linkedin and LinkedIn Sale Navigator
  • Willing to be nimble and often cover additional responsibilities
  • Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
  • Able to see other people's points of view and take on critical feedback
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strongly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
