The Director of eCommerce is responsible for leading all aspects of Pattern brand partner go to market strategies. Core responsibilities include: managing partner relationships, developing and executing business plans, managing a team of eCommerce professionals, and leading special projects related to expanding the Pattern business model or increasing operational efficiencies. These duties would extend across a variety of selling platforms including: Amazon,, eBay, and others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for management of a portfolio of 20+ partner brands
  • Leads the development and implementation of brand specific marketplace selling strategies
  • Significantly outperforms category revenue growth for managed products
  • Serves as the marketplace expert with a deep knowledge of platform capabilities and business levers
  • Responsible evaluating competitive landscape and developing strategies to maximize business growth
  • Leads all quarterly and annual business review sessions with brand partners
  • Manages a team of 8 - 12 direct reports
  • Ensures the highest levels of operational execution
  • Develops and evaluates brand specific advertising strategies
  • Leads innovation of new processes or systems supporting Pattern business growth


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related program
  • Experience leading .com or marketplace commercial efforts (Amazon,, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Previous people management experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • High ethical standards
  • Management consulting experience a plus
