Pattern also act as a global distributor with an Amazon/marketplace first approach for both partner brands looking to expand into new markets and for our own brands which we have acquired within our ‘Pattern Village’ function.

We are now looking for a Head of Distribution to leverage our capabilities to quickly launch our brands here in Europe. Identifying suitable online and offline retailers to help distribute our brand offerings. This role will be accountable for ifentifying, developing and implementing a sales strategy for each of the brands that drives growth and profitability.

Experience in selling into online and offline retail, across a number of categories, you will have experience and contacts in the Health and Wellness space and be willing to work outside of this category where needed. (The category focus may change as we grow).

A full team in London will support you with Finance, operations and marketing with the expectation for you to identify the most appropriate channels for our brands to be distributed to within a number of markets. UK experience is a must and preferably some experience and contacts within the European market – specifically Germany.

The full-time role is based in our modern and friendly central London office, in Soho, with hybrid/flexible working options available. We are a fast-growing company with a can-do culture that will suit someone who prefers not to work in a highly corporate environment.

We offer a competitive salary, based on experience, plus a range of benefits including an allocation of restricted stock units (RSUs) on joining, and a 3pm finish on a Friday during the summer. We will also offer a competitive commission structure based on allocated revenue targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gotomarket strategy – identifying key online and offline retail distribution partnerships which will suit the positioning and marketing aims of the brands we own and partner with.
  • Develop distribution agreements and negotiate commercial terms with key partners
  • Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders related to agreement creation, order placements, finance liaison and marketing coordination
  • Develop strong on-going relationships with relevant Wholesale contacts, ensuring all service levels are met consistently, whilst always looking to maximise any sales opportunities.
  • Analysis of weekly/monthly business reports, detailing % target achieved, flagging concerns, and taking proactive measures.
  • Ensure that stock levels are regularly reviewed and maintained to maximise sales and liaise directly with the marketing team to ensure the store is adhering to the required standards.
  • Budgeting of projected distribution revenue, monitoring sales performance, stock levels and working with finance and merchandising to optimise.
  • Ensuring retailer stock files/order forms are created and sent to retail partners 2 months prior to launch along with sell in information, images and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with retailers on forecasts and PO’s while ensuring delivery is made within committed lead time.
  • Prepare brand orders, forecasts and manage brand relationships on an ongoing basis visiting physical stores when appropriate.
  • Conducting or coordinating brand training where appropriate including organising testing units for trial.

Experience & Skills

  • 2:1 or above BA/BSc from Top Tier university
  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role. Health and/or Beauty Industry is a distinct advantage
